Open positions seeking to fulfill immediately:
Social Media - looking for (1-2) members to share responsibilities managing the HWC social media platforms (Instagram & Facebook), digital media collection, create digital content, and engage with our online community. This position will plan the timeline of social media posts by using the HWC planning calendar and will have frequent communication with committee chairs and the board regarding social media requests. Website & Newsletter - looking for (1) member able to use Weebly to manage the HWC website. Website duties include keeping all content current, managing Tockify event calendar, uploading meeting minutes, and creation of engaging content. 2023-2024 Executive Board Fulfillment
In order to prepare for the next fiscal year, the board asks for volunteers to make a one-year commitment to serve on the Executive Board. During the month of March, members can submit a statement of interest for the position they would like to commit to for the upcoming year. Interested members, please apply by March 31st.
The current Executive Board will meet in April to discuss the candidates and vote in all positions. All candidates will be notified regarding the results by May 1st. Elected board members will assume their duties beginning July 1st.

Treasurer - shall be the chief financial accounting officer in charge of HWC financial affairs, funds, securities and valuable papers and shall keep full and accurate records thereof. The Treasurer prepares all state and federal filings required.
Secretary - records and maintains records of all proceedings of the directors. The secretary also works with the board and committee co-chairs to create meeting agendas. Responsible for finalizing meeting minutes and submitting them to be uploaded to the website.
Board Advisor - this position is considered essential for the purpose of establishing a quorum during board elections and advising the current board.
