All we need is ONE hour of your time to help create a Love Letters for Literacy packet for children in need.

This month we will help equip families with the tools to teach their children to read by creating literacy kits for preschoolers in need. These handmade packets comprise 26 flashcards (A through Z), a short note from the volunteer, and a list of educational games to play at home.

7:00 - 7:15p - Arrivals and Social Time

7:15 - 7:30p - Brief presentation by the Library on all the wonderful things it has to offer.

7:30 - 7:45p - HWC Announcements on upcoming events and needs

7:45 - 8:45p - Love Letters for Literacy Project: We will make literacy packets for pre-school aged children to help equip families with the tools to teach their children to read.
